Review : So this was my random film of the week, the poster looked interesting.. the plot well hmm but I thought I would give it a chance.
The film has a very low budget feel and look very cheap, the film uses a lot of green screen so it doesnt look 100% real.
The acting is just as bad, though the film does have a few good points.. probably mostly for guys. The 3 girls who are the bad girls trying to steal the diamonds are very attractive. The one I though was the nicest and most attractive was Trixie (Julia Voth), she was the cutest.
The film as a whole feels like a bad porno movie, but a porno movie that doesnt have sex, nudity etc etc. The camera zooms in on all the girls best parts.. there are a lot of slow motion boob bouncing and random lets throw water on each other scenes.
Overall it wasnt a great film, but these boob shots etc saves it every so slightly. Not one I would recommend or see again.

Review : I was really looking forward to this film, as ever since New Police Story I started to enjoy Jackie Chan's more serious roles. I saw the trailer for this and just thought hmmm, but I decided to give it a shot.
The film at parts is very violent, and very dark which helped create a nice dark mood to the film. At points the film slowed way down, and was getting to the bored stage so it didn't keep me thinking whats going to happen next.
Overall I was disappointed with the film, at parts i was really bored but lucky the action parts and the drama scenes made up for it. Jackie Chan did a great job, and his acting was great…though its not one I would get on DVD.

Review : I am not a big Tim Burton fan, nothing against him just never really liked his films too much. I did enjoy the Planet of the Apes remake and his animations but film wise..just so so.
Parts of the film felt too long, and could have been cut down a little as I was starting to get a little bored at bits. The parts that did flow nice, were good not amazing but enjoyable.
The 3D effect did and didn't help, there were a lot of parts that felt its been done 3D just to be 3D where other parts felt flat at times. It felt like they rushed it in 3D, as it could have been done a lot better.
The film as a whole was just ok, there wasn't one part where I would say I enjoyed it more than another part. The visual effects were good, but nothing that will blow you away like Avatar did.
Overall was just ok, expected something a lot better and I wont be seeing it again or getting it on DVD.

Review : I saw the trailer for this, and for some reason I was sure I had seen it before….so I decided to give it a watch just in case i was wrong.
I had seen this, well the story as the film was a remake of a UK production so throughout I had the feeling that it was very familiar.
The film was good, I wouldn't see it again but it was good. There were points where the story really dragged and could have been shorter, but when the action was taking place it was really good.
All the murder/death scenes you do not see coming, especially the 1st one.
Overall the film could have been a lot better, and some scenes shorter so just an OK from me.

Review : I finally got to see this film, I had heard from so many people that it was a really great film and that I would really enjoy it so I gave it a shot.
The film starts of with a feel that its going to have slight comic moments, but once he gets past the first boarding scene at the airport the jokes stop.
The film is a more serious film, than your lead to believe at the start but that didnt stop me continuing to watch it. It has a nice look
The film for me was just ok, the acting and story was great but it isnt one i would normally have watched but was just ok. I dont think I would see this again or get the DVD.
Overall it was just ok, the acting is really good and you do feel sorry for the main character but i didnt enjoy it as much as I was expecting to. It did leave me thinking, how true to life is this....as I am sure there are a lot of folk who just fly and not spend a lot of time at home.

Review : This was my random film of the week, I knew nothing about it but thought would give it a shot.
The film has a very crazy plot, as the main character talks to mother earth a lot and swap relationship advice. Putting that aside its a nice film, that has a feel good plot.
The film has a lot of great laughs, and really good acting. I am sure that a lot of woman who fall for younger guys, think the same thoughts as the main character did.
Paul Rudd plays his part really well, he is the light entertainment in the film that gives you most of the jokes and fun moments. The one scene in particular i laughed at, was his dance floor dance it was so funny.
Overall if your in to romcoms, and want a nice feel good film then this is for you. Wasnt the best romcom, but still very enjoyable and had a lot of great laughs.

Review : I missed this film in the cinema, mostly due to it not looking like the style of vampire film I would normally want to watch.
I finally got a chance to see it recently, and here is what I thought.
The film doesn't really have a dark feel to it, it felt more high school drama style to me rather than a horror vampire film. Granted it is aimed at the young adult base, rather than adult scary horror fan base.
The lead actor was actually not a great actor, it was very awkward to watch his performance and even harder to believe it.
The film didnt sit right, it was slightly all over the place and didnt have a good pace to it.
Overall the film was not as bad as it could have been but, it wasnt a great film. I would miss this film, and wait for it to show on TV..and only watch it if there wasnt anything else on.

Review : The film has a really great look to it, the special FX are great and you are instantly pulled back in time. The casting was great, as every actor you believed them.
For me the story was interesting, but I was getting bored half way through. The film could have been a lot shorter and still had the same effect.
A few characters did die, but due to being a little bored I didn't feel anything for them like you do with some films.
I know this is a short review, but the plot was very basic and saying even a little would give the story away plus I was bored during it so didnt really take too much in.
Overall it was visually nice, but too long.

Review : This was another one of those films for me, where I saw the trailer and thought its would have a lot more comedy.
The film is very well put together, the casting is great and you can feel the chemistry between the characters.
The story is a very moving one, as the father is out to try and get his children back to being as close as they used to.
Throughout the film you see a lot of true to life aspects, where the children keep things from their parents so not to hurt them or disappoint them etc. which is sad when you think about it as you should be able to tell your parents anything without them judging you.
The film does have a few funny scenes, but its more a serious drama.
Overall its a really good and very well acted film, but I am sure a lot more people will have gone to see this with the idea its a comedy. The film makes you think how you and your family are, if you keep secrets from them etc. and also makes you think how close you really are to your family.

Review : For me the trailer did nothing, as its classic chick flick...though it did make it out to be more of a comedy than it actually was.
The film has a great cast, and is very well acted but I was expecting a few more laughs than it actually had.
One of its biggest issues was it was just jumping around with the story lines way too much, don't get me wrong I did manage to follow it ok but it really killed the pace of the film and the other stories.
Overall it was just an ok film, granted its not targeted at guys but still I have watched a lot of films and this was just ok. Its biggest disappointment for me was the lack of the odd joke that the trailer made it out to have, and also it jumped around too much.
Ok film, very well acted and had a great cast.
